Privacy Policy
Moon Calendar is developed by Polyariz. This page explains what data the app collects on Android and iOS, and how it is used. We do not sell your personal information and we do not show advertisements.
Information we collect
Most features work without any account. The app collects:
1. Location (approximate and precise). Used to compute astronomical events (sunrise/sunset, lunar day, twilight, etc.) for your area and to resolve the locality name through the system geocoder. Location is processed on-device; on Android it is also handled by Google Play Services, on iOS by Apple Core Location. You can deny the location permission and enter the location manually.
2. In-app analytics events. Anonymous usage data via Firebase Analytics — which screens are opened, which settings are changed, when the paywall is opened. This helps us understand which features are used and improve the app.
3. Purchase information. When you complete a purchase we record the transaction identifier, the product identifier, the price and the currency. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play Billing on Android and by Apple StoreKit on iOS — we do NOT receive your payment card details.
4. Device and analytics identifiers. Firebase Analytics uses the Firebase Installation ID; on Android additionally the Android Advertising ID (AAID), on iOS the Identifier for Vendor (IDFV). These are used solely for analytics and app functionality — the app does not show ads, does not perform cross-app tracking and does not share identifiers with advertising networks. The app does NOT request the iOS Advertising Identifier (IDFA). AAID can be reset or deleted in your Android privacy settings.
5. Optional account (Sign in with Google / Sign in with Apple). Some paid services (for example, Tarot Reading) require a one-time sign-in so that your orders and answers can be linked to you and restored after reinstalling the app. When you sign in we receive and store your email address and an account identifier provided by Google or Apple. We do not receive your password.
6. Tarot Reading order data. When you order a reading you provide a name, gender, birth date and the text of your question; the conversation with the reader is also stored. This data is used solely to provide the service you ordered. Transactional emails (order confirmation, notification that the answer is ready) are sent to your account email address.
Where data is stored and who processes it
We do not sell or share your data with anyone for their own purposes. To operate the app we use infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf:

How long we keep data
Analytics events are retained by Firebase for up to 14 months. Account data and order history are kept until you delete your account. Purchase records are retained as required by accounting and tax obligations.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account at any time directly in the app (account icon → Delete account) or by emailing us. Deletion removes your account, email address, name and birth data from our server; anonymized request texts may be retained for statistics. See detailed instructions.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
